OUR COMMITMENT

Ethics at the Heart of Luxury

Fine cashmere comes from a fragile, living ecosystem. The animals, the landscapes, the herding communities that sustain this rare fibre — all of it deserves the same careful attention that goes into the textiles we create from it.
EZMA is the first and only Indian entity associated with the CCMI — Cashmere and Camel Hair Manufacturers Institute, the global body that maintains the integrity, traceability, and ethical standards of cashmere production worldwide. We source exclusively from internationally certified suppliers of verified standing. Every fibre that enters the EZMA process can be traced, tested, and accounted for. This is not a policy adopted for perception. It is a standard we have held since the house was founded.

Learn About CCMI

"Fine cashmere is rare, natural, and irreplaceable. We take that seriously."

OUR PILLARS

Sustainable Practices

Ethical Sourcing

EZMA works only with internationally certified cashmere suppliers whose practices meet our standards for animal welfare, fibre traceability, and responsible land stewardship. Where a fibre comes from is inseparable from what it becomes.

CCMI Membership

As India's only CCMI-affiliated luxury cashmere house, EZMA operates within a globally recognised framework for cashmere authenticity, purity, and responsible production — a commitment that runs through every sourcing decision we make.

Longevity by Design

The most responsible luxury textile is one never discarded. EZMA creates cashmere shawls, pashmina stoles, and fine cashmere scarves designed to last — in material quality, structural beauty, and enduring relevance. Designing for permanence is, in itself, a form of sustainability.

Circular Fibre

EZMA actively explores circular approaches — including the careful recovery, re-carding, and re-spinning of cashmere fibres to give reclaimed material a second life without loss of quality. Our responsibility does not end when a textile leaves the house.
